Burbank Music Academy was founded on the idea that music should be a part of everyones life. In the fall of 2006 a group of parents got together to raise money for the arts programs at their childrens school, this first "Rockin' For The Arts" show was the catalyst for the formation of True Note Music LLC and Burbank Music Academy. This tradition of philanthopy continues today.

Rockin' For The Arts, now a nationally recognized 501c3, public charitable orginization is one of Burbank Music Academy's many cheritable partners. RFTA's sole purpose is to help make sure kids have access to arts education. Whether it's funding the dance or music programs at your childs school or raising scholarship money for music lessons, RFTA is dedicated to helping enrich our childrens lives with arts and music. Burbank Music Academy supports those efforts through RFTA's Rockin' For The Arts fundraising concerts, BMA is committed to fund 5-6 RFTA shows per school year. BMA opened it's doors in 2007 and we have supported the Downtown Burbank Arts Festival ever since! This wonderful spring event is put on each year by the Burbank Arts For All Commitee and the City of Burbank. Burbank Music Academy supports this event with donations, equipment and entertainment. For the last 4 years BMA has helped the American Cancer Society build the Relay For Life event in Burbank. From providing staging, sound equipment and backline equipment to booking and coordinating the entertainment, Burbank Music Academy enjoy's being a part of this wonderful event every year. Burbank Music Academy helps our local schools raise money by donating lesson packages, instruments and camp packages to auctions and fund raisers. BMA also helps our schools with events through donations of sound equipment, backline equipment and entertainment for their fund raising events.
